Narrative

Injured employee sustained a scratched cornea and was prescribed antibiotic eye drops as a result of being hit in the face with a blast of water and debris. The employees were repairing a water leak on a 2"" Victaulic coupler on a battery barn deluge system. The system pressure was isolated but was not properly bled off.
