Narrative

Employee was handling roof straps and twisted to offload them onto a scoop resulting in a sprain/strain to the lower back. Cause of injury was improper body positioning. Compliance with rules/regs, PPE, mining equip/systems not a factor. Miner proficiency may be a factor.
