## Narrative

Employee tripped on a sight string for belt alignment that was hanging off belt structure and partially laying in water and struck right knee on a rock resulting in an abrasion. Cause of injury was awareness. Compliance with rules/regs, PPE, mining equip/systems not a factor. Miner proficiency may be a factor.
