## Narrative

Employee used a torch to cut a piece of 5/8"" mild steel plate in the lower repair bay.  The plate employee was cutting was standing up vertically in the plate rack.  When employee was finishing the cut, the piece of steel started to fall and employee attempted to catch it but it pinched employee's middle finger as it hit the floor.  Employee was taken to a medical facility.
