Narrative

The employee was bolting off the miner on the 7 East section in the #2 Entry, when the drill steel got stuck in the mine roof. The employee's steel became free, falling and striking them in the left index finger. The employee received 12 stitches. Employee did not violate any laws or company policies and was wearing all the appropriate PPE.
