Narrative

Injured employee (EE) was checking the oil level in the longwall shearer ranging arm. EE's right boot was in the face conveyor chain and as EE turned to exit the work area, the boot got caught in the chain causing EE to twist right knee. EE has pain and soreness in knee. EE didn't violate any regulations, has training and was wearing required PPE.
