## Narrative

Employee was making a mechanical splice and EE needed to break off a clip to the splice. When EE was breaking off the clip with a claw hammer and the claw of the hammer came back and caught the inside of EE's left hand below the left thumb. EE received three stitches. EE was also wearing metacarpal gloves.
