The Employee was on the 1 West Tailgate section at 70blk #2 entry, in the process of installing a rib bolt from the miner. Loose material fell from the mine roof onto the ventilation tubing and then slid into the side of EE's head above the ear causing a laceration. The employee was complying with all laws, company policies, and was wearing all appropriate PPE.
