Narrative

Maintenance employees were reinstalling discharge line on 6X6 pump when line blew off during start up. Employee was positioned to bleed air at the point when the line blew free striking the employee in the left forearm. Injury sustained was a laceration to the left forearm requiring twelve sutures to close.
