The employee was removing the connecting staple in a fitting that was connecting a 3/4"" emulsion hose, when employee removed the staple the pressure had not been fully released & the hose began to whip. It did not involve any equipment or compliance issues. It also did not involve job skills, proficiency, training, PPE or protective devices. **Began missing work on 09/27/2019**
