Narrative

Setting up a hoist to lift gear cover off an engine. Injured employee was giving commands to mine mechanic who was running the hoist remote. Injured employee had said ""hold on"" but the mine mechanic continued to lift, causing tension on the chain and pinning EE's finger against a water pipe. The injured employee suffered a pinching laceration that required 12 stitches.
