## Narrative

Employee was replacing shields on the continuous miner and had pulled the rub rail pin to provide enough clearance to slide a shield into place. As EE was doing this, EE had left hand on the bottom of the rub rail when it unexpectedly came loose and dropped, pinching EE's left hand between the rub rail and a crib block.
