Narrative

Contract employee was positioning a discharge pipe when it slipped from EE's grasp and pinched EE's hand between the pipe and a side plate. Cause of this injury was employee awareness during the task. Compliance with rules/regs, PPE, mining equipment/systems not a factor. Miner proficiency may be a factor.
