Employee was positioning HDPE pipe in fusion machine. 300' length of 18"" pipe was suspended from a trackhoe by a chain & being aligned by a rough terrain forklift. Employee attempted to make a final adjustment in the pipe alignment & placed hand between the pipes. At that time the pipe shifted in the chain & entrapped the employee's fingers. Gloves were being worn.
