Narrative

EE received 2nd degree chemical burns from high PH material that released from the main conditioning tower during plug clearing. The EE was standing ~10 feet away, material fell from the tower, exited the vessel, hit the deck, and splashed onto EE. The material impacted upper chest, neck, cheek, and forehead. Eyes and mouth were protected by a N95 mask and safety glasses.
