While moving a tool box from Brk 16 to Brk 15 on 30 Right LW with a scoop, after pushing the tool box out of the scoop bucket and backing out of the entry when a crosstie that was buried in the mud and gravel caused the scoop to unexpectedly jar the employee hard causing pain in lower back.
