## Narrative

While attempting to puncture a 1-1/2"" rubber hose with EE's non-locking pocket knife, the EE had the blade close on index finger causing a laceration across the first knuckle above the finger nail of gloved right hand. At the emergency room 5 stitches were needed to close the wound.
