## Narrative

Employee was attempting to remove a pin from a clevis that was attached to a continuous miner rub rail that was removed from the machine and lying on the concrete floor. When the pin was removed, the rub rail shifted, smashing the employee's left middle finger between the rub rail and floor. This resulted in an avulsion of the fingertip and a tuft fracture.
