Narrative

Injured employee was removing roof channels from a scoop to load on the continuous miner. As IE was lifting 2 straps off of a stack, the stack shifted and tipped up contacting IE's left thumb. The edge of the strap cut through IE's glove and caused a laceration to the top of left thumb near the last knuckle.
