Narrative

While the employee was working on a roof bolter, a rock (measuring approximately 3 feet by 2 feet by 3 inches thick) fell from the mine roof and struck the mechanic in the back of right knee causing a small tear in knee and calf muscles. The employee started missing work on 1/4/2021 and is expected to make a full recovery. No surgery is expected to be required.
