## Narrative

EE missed step while dismounting excavator and contacted the ground hard on EE's feet.  EE began feeling pain in EE's right leg and back days later but kept working through 12/27, the end of EE's rotation.  On 12/30, while off work, the employee went to EE's doctor for lingering pain.  Doctor ordered MRI and would not release employee back to work until the MRI was completed.
