## Narrative

Miner was using a 6"" grinder.  Grinding wheel struck left index finger.  Miner went to clinic, was examined, and given a tetanus shot.  Was referred to emergency room for further treatment.  After examination and negative X-Rays the physician cleaned the cut, applied ointment, bandaged, and applied a metal finger guard. Anti-biotic pills were prescribed.
