Narrative

While installing belt structure, a miner lifted a 48"" bottom roller into place and felt a pop in the back of EE's right hand. Soon after EE's middle fingers went numb. An X-Ray on day of injury was negative. Doctor requested an MRI. Workers Comp took 7 days to approve MRI. MRI done on 03/22/2021 and results received 03/25/2021 showing 2 torn ligaments. Possibly requiring surgery.
