## Narrative

Employee smashed finger while handling a snubber pin.  The mechanic threw the 50lb pin onto the dipper and it started to roll back.  The mechanic tried to catch the pin but as it fell and hit the service truck bed, it smashed finger.  The incident resulted in a fractured right index finger.
