IE went to doctor on 4/24/21 with what IE thought was an eye infection. Upon examination a shard of metal was found embedded in eye. IE last used grinder on 4/22/21, but was not aware of the metal in their eye until the exam. Injury was not the result of a compliance or training issue. IE was wearing safety glasses while using the grinder.
