Narrative

Employee was roof bolting on the right side of the CM when a large piece of ""head coal"" fell out from 2 roof channel straps and struck EE on the head, neck, shoulder. Employee was briefly knocked unconscious. Was transported to the hospital for evaluation and released later that shift. Employee was wearing required PPE and has training & experience.
