Narrative

IE was adjusting blocking material as they were lifting a scoop to load onto a carrier. The scoop shifted when it fell striking IE's right arm. The IE was adjusting blocking material at this point. The IE was brought to the surface and taken to a hospital via helicopter. MSHA was notified via the hotline and investigated the incident.
