## Narrative

IE was drilling a roof bolt hole, a hyd. hose on the bottom of the boom was hung under a piece of rock.  IE continued drilling upwards, unknowing the hose was stuck under the rock, the hose broke at a fitting as it was stretched, allowing it to swing up striking the IE above the right eyebrow. The IE was taken to Sparta Community hospital where IE received 3 sutures.
