## Narrative

The incident occurred at a sand and gravel mine where the terrain is primarily loose sand. The employee states EE was walking down a slope to go restart the pump that feeds water to the wash plant. The pump sets near the water approximately 15ft below natural grade. As EE walked down the slope the sand shifted under EE's foot causing EE to stumble and ""roll EE's ankle"".
