## Narrative

Employee operating the excavator, traveled on the south side of the conveyor, parallel to the highwall. Holding 6-8' back from the highwall as they traveled, the material gave way underneath the excavator, tipping over the machine. The employee sustained a fractured rib and occipital condyle fracture.
