## Narrative

While in the process of loading behind the miner. A piece of coal measuring (14' x 13' x 9') was discharged from the tail end of the miner conveyor tail traveling 10.5 feet, striking the IE's right hand positioned on the bed controls in the cab. This resulted in a laceration to the inside bottom of the little finger that required 7 sutures to close the wound.
