Employee stated was assisting electricians repair broken CM conveyor chain. The chain had been lifted with a chain ratchet approx. 24"" to access a drive cog when it fell striking EE on the left hand & arm. 1st aid was rendered, and EE was escorted outside by EMT to waiting ambulance. EE traveled to ER, treated, and fully released. EE returned to work on their next scheduled shift.
