Narrative

EE was drilling a hole into the mine roof when EE lost suction. EE's starter steel remained in the mine roof while EE was checking the suction. EE's hand was on the chuck when the starter steel broke free from the mine roof and struck EE on the left index and middle finger causing a laceration which required (5) sutures. EE began missing work on 11/15/2022.
