A miner was trapped on the Miracle Run Elevator while performing the daily elevator inspection. The EE was chipping ice which caused a piece to fall to the bottom of the shaft damaging the buffer switch stopping the elevator. The miner got off at 5:10pm. Schindler Elevator Services repaired the switch cable and inspected the elevator prior to going back in service.
