Narrative

A crew was conducting auger drilling operations. The assistant operator went to retrieve a 4.25"" auger from the storage rack and was struck in the left hand when auger shifted in the rack, pinching EE's hand between the moving and a stationary auger. Impact resistant gloves were worn at the time of the injury. The injury was a laceration to the outer left hand requiring 8 sutures.
