An alleged ignition occurred on the 3SLW. The HG drum had a orange flame appear at the headgate drum before it was extinguished. The shearer operator had stopped and was raising the drum to check bits when this happened. There was 15 worn bits on the HG drum. The water and air parameters were within compliance. This was investigated by MSHA.
