Employee stated was setting the roof bolter up in #9 entry on #1 section when EE noticed a rock falling. Employee stated  tried to move out of the way, but the rock struck EE's left forearm resulting in a laceration. The rock measured 6""Lx2""Wx1/4""thick. The employee received 7 stitches and returned to work on EE's next scheduled shift.
