Narrative

Employee was attempting to beat a bent deck back into place with a 8 lb. hammer. EE was swinging the hammer upward when EE missed the deck, and the hammer went through a hole. This action caused EE's right ring finger to be pinched between the hammer handle and deck causing a crushing injury of right ring finger and a one-inch laceration without damage to nail.
