Employee was attempting to adjust a pan chain of the stamler pan feeder. Two 1"" nylon straps were attached to the pan and a come-along. Employee was ratcheting on come-along when the pan shifted causing the weight of the pan to rest on one of the nylon straps. This caused the nylon strap to break. The come-along struck employee in right rib area.
