I.E. was cutting coal at the face with the continuous miner. While loading a coal hauler, and the coal was mounding in the bed, a chunk of material roughly 3""x3"" came from the bed and struck the I.E. in the right eye. I.E. was taken off by a doctor on 6-27-2024.
