Narrative

Employee was bolting on the belt line at the 11 West Longwall Booster when a drill steel became stuck in the top. When it came free, it struck EE on EE's left arm. EE received 7 sutures. Compliance with rules/regs, PPE, mining equip/systems not a factor. Miner proficiency may be a factor.
