## Narrative

Employee was cutting sprocket chain that was fouled on the offside drive axle to install a new intermediate shaft when the chain flew apart as it was being cut. The chain struck the employee on the left middle finger, causing a laceration. Employee received 6 sutures to close the wound and was given a full release to return to work on next scheduled shift.
