Two technicians, while traveling down the slope entrance into the mine, lost their brakes, as well as the regen braking was not functioning properly. The operator of the cart was able to make it to the bottom of the slope without rolling over or throwing either one of them off the ride. They were beat up, suffering contusions, but no broken bones.
