While placing a diester insert and attempting to maneuver in place, IP went to grab a tool and as placed right hand along the top railing area to maintain three points of contact, the suspended load shifted as it was shimmied in place, causing load to come down approx. 3-6"" on hand, causing lacerations to top of fingers, and comminuted fractures to ring and pinky fingers.
