Narrative

EE was assisting in placing a piece of takeup in line for a new setup Another employee raised one side of the takeup portion with a bar in order to place a 6"" beam under the takeup foot As the injured EE was placing the beam under the takeup foot the bar slipped and caught EE's right thumb between the takeup foot and the beam causing a laceration and a fracture to the thumb.
