Narrative

Employee was installing a shuttle car canopy when a rock fell from the roof and struck EE's right hand, causing EE's right ring finger to become caught between the rock and the canopy and resulting in a fracture to EE's finger. Compliance with rules/regs, PPE, mining equip/systems not a factor. Miner proficiency may be a factor.
