The employee was starting to drill the first hole in the last row when a triangle shaped piece of rock measuring 12.5"" x 6"" x 1.5"" fell from the roof around the drill steel deflecting off of the rotating drill pot striking the employee on the right wrist just above the glove line causing a laceration that required sutures to close.
