## Description

On February 4, 2015, the NRC issued a Notice of Violation and Proposed Imposition of Civil Penalty in the amount of $3,500 to Patriot Engineering and Environmental for a Severity Level III violation. Specifically, on September 4, 2014, the licensee failed to maintain control and constant surveillance or use a minimum of two independent physical controls to secure a portable gauge from unauthorized removal as required by 10 CFR 20.1802 and 30.34(i).
