## Abstract

On Friday, September 12, 2003 (Federal Register/Vol. 68, No. 177) USDOL published its policies implementing the Federal Policy on Research Misconduct issued by the Executive Office of the President's Office of Science and Technology on December 6, 2000. Following public comment, and in order to eliminate a possible ambiguity in the USDOL policy statement, the USDOL hereby publishes this technical correction to its policy statement on research misconduct. Though this technical correction changes only two words in the September 12, 2003 USDOL policy statement on research misconduct, the USDOL is hereby publishing the entire USDOL Policy statement.
