Our Common Stock is also listed on the NYSE Texas. See Management's Discussion and Analysis of Financial Condition and Results of Operations - Dividends for details on our dividend policy.\n\nSHARE REPURCHASES\n\nOn May 17, 2022, the Board authorized the repurchase of an additional 7,500,000 shares. Including this latest authorization, our Board has approved the repurchase in the open market of a cumulative total of approximately 55.9 million shares of our Common Stock since we became publicly held in April 1994.\n\nDuring fiscal years 2026, 2025, and 2024, we repurchased 1,739,625, 1,214,173, and 1,863,534 shares, respectively, at average prices of $219.48, $245.67, and $184.21, respectively. We have repurchased approximately 52.9 million shares from April 1994 through March 31, 2026. As a result, we have a total of approximately 2.9 million shares that remain available for repurchase as authorized by our Board. The Board did not specify an expiration date for its authorizations.\n\nShare repurchases may be made from time to time in the open market or in privately negotiated transactions. The timing and amount of any repurchases of shares will be determined by the Company’s management, based on its evaluation of market and economic conditions and other factors. In some cases, repurchases may be made pursuant to plans, programs, or directions established occasionally by the Company’s management, including plans to comply with the safe harbor provided by Rule 10b5-1.\n\nThe Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 added a provision imposing a 1% excise tax on the fair value of stock repurchases by companies beginning January 1, 2023.
